At the end of last summer, I expanded my herd with a young Wielkopolski horse.

Priam, as he is called, is an absolutely lovely horse. He is 6 years old and a very curious creature.

He loves people, play, and other horses. Unfortunately, at such a young age, he had already experienced the hardships of life as a riding horse.

He was beautiful and was meant to become a sport horse. He trained and changed owners. He gathered many different experiences, and the baggage he carried was not a pleasant one. Everything was done too quickly, with improper training and without understanding. I bought him because I felt he had that special something.

With me, we completely changed the program. The horse got a break from demanding training and was allowed to return a little to his childhood, when he could spend carefree time out in the pasture. For several months he worked very lightly, mainly from the ground, with respect for his young age, trying to change his mindset and overcome bad experiences. He received full veterinary care, physiotherapy, and training under the guidance of a trainer who treats horses with great respect. He opened up and began to trust again.

At the beginning, when he changed stables, I used Hempqualizer to minimize the “shock”, change, a new stable, everything new :)) Later, during the first training sessions, I used it because of his fears and spookiness. It always helped calm his emotions. Then, after another stable change, it helped calm him down again. He became very attached to the new herd and felt stressed whenever he had to leave the paddock and go into the stable for grooming, feeding, and training. Until he understood that everything was okay, Hempqualizer helped us a lot in managing his separation anxiety. Today, that problem is gone.

Another thing, and this is important: during a time when temperatures were fluctuating between -30 and -5 degrees, my older horse caught a slight chill (a cough, but no fever). Priam did too. Within a week, the issue was gone, using only Hempqualizer and herbal infusions.

The return to ridden work was also flawless thanks to giving Hempqualizer. In the new stable, after all the changes, the horse now functions completely normally and without stress.
