Paganini is a 9-year-old Wielkopolski gelding who, just a few months ago, could turn every training session into a rodeo. Rearing, bucking, throwing riders off – and on top of that, he would quickly “burn out” from even the smallest changes in the stable, from the carousel starting to move to hay bales being shifted around. Riding alone in the countryside was out of the question, and in summer, even during tacking up, he developed episodic headshaking. Tack, teeth, bit and saddle fitting, as well as regular physiotherapy sessions were all checked and in order – yet Paganini still reacted with excessive stress and distraction.

I have owned Paganini only since August 2024. The first behavioral issues appeared in early autumn. Paganini began rearing, bucking, and throwing riders off. Without an indoor arena, our training options were limited, but with spring we started working regularly again. From that point, I noticed my horse would stress very quickly, become overstimulated, and every small change in the stable overwhelmed him (the horse walker starting, another horse leaving the stable, hay bales being moved). Riding out alone was out of the question. In summer, he also developed headshaking that appeared only when I started tacking him up. We checked his teeth, saddle, bridle, and bit – everything was fine. We also regularly work with a physiotherapist.

Already after the second dose (3 ml), I began to see a difference. Paganini finally started focusing on work, and even solo hacks – past rustling two-meter-high cornfields or riding along the road – were no longer an issue. To my surprise, his headshaking also slightly improved.
